    I worked as a Medical Claims Examiner for many years for two major Canadian Travel Insurance providers. During that time I constantly struggled between my need to work and the part I played in an unethical and sleazy business which knowingly sells "insurance" under narrowly legal premises. Medical questionnaires are set up for failure to be completed correctly thereby allowing for denials. Even the assistance of your medical doctor in filling out the forms won't work

    My WorldElite Master Card comes with travelers insurance and airfare insurance. I never buy stupid Travel insurance. I would agree that you should make the claim as soon as possible. You called them and they won't cover you bloody bastards.

    60% of insurance companies promise u LOTS of coverage on several things, but only 10% of what they say they would cover....the other 90% is all fake
    only 40% of companies are 100% accurate

    Are they claiming that you didn't go to the dentist or that you didn't call immediately? I can understand not going on the night as you don't seem to have been in much pain, and were leaving the next day.

    Do they have a 24 hour number? If not then you can say that you called during their business hours, if so then they can say you didn't inform them immediately so you didn't give them the chance to advise what to do.

    Either way it is poor service on their part, to refuse the claim offhand.

    Maybe if you show them a video of when you were in Bali to provide proof that this actually occurred over in Bali with a video that shows that your tooth is in fact missing then maybe you can get your claim, I can see where there coming from but this is some Bull Shit.... Sorry Mate.

    I have to say also, I'd be pretty sus of using any dentists in Bali, however if they were accredited to Australian standard or equivalent then fair enough.
    I'm under the impression that you can get your teeth fixed up on Medicare.

    bastards really bad insurance scam, who the hell will ever visit a dentist at 11: 30 at night on broken tooth, abuiosly it will be done next morning or the day next, really bad scamsters. dont leave them, THEY MUST PAY TO EVERY GENUINE CLAIM.
