We just bought a cruise for our 30th wedding anniversary. We need travel insurance and would prefer to buy it at the best price, but I want to make sure we get good coverage. Need some suggestions, and when should I buy it.

My wife and I take 2 - 3 cruises a year, so I buy a lot of travel insurance. On line is the best way to go because you can compare policies better. Your travel agent generally has a relationship with one company and can't offer you the same variety.
ReplyDeleteI compare travel insurance all the time. I just recently used http://www.tripinsurance.com and found their prices lower on the same coverage I was buying on other websites. They have fewer policies than other sites, but they do have major insurance brands and several different classes of coverage. Don't short change your insurance plan. Just a few dollars more can get you much better coverage.
Make sure to buy it just as soon as you book your trip. You tend to get better coverage if you buy within 10-14 days of making your first trip payment.
