First these companies are our friends and offer insurance. Next they get the govt to demand we have it. After that they are our friends again by offering this to "lower our premiums" but never mind that they have forced this insurance on us to begin with and most times refuse to pay off when needed. What will be next? Something involving the govt mandating that we have these. Then the NSA will step in and we are screwed for our last vestige of freedom we have left.
ReplyDeleteCitröen is doing it in Europe
ReplyDeleteThat's what the Spanish said when they came to the Americas. We come in peace. Sure. What these companies are doing will not save you much. Especially progressive, plug that thing in for a month and I think I saved 30 bucks on my next six months renewal. As always, "they" are gathering data, for what? I hope for the better good. But most likely, will be used against you if they have to payout a claim.
ReplyDeletedon't do it...the more that do the less options there will be for us that don't want to....every time you exceed the speed limit your insurance will be at risk and/or fined.

ReplyDeleteCan CNET please make a Chanel for just automobiles? I hate having this in my feed, I love the host, but I don't like automobile information. I wish he would review other things, does his job very professionally, but again, I come to CNET for tech news not automobile mumbo jumbo about cars I will never buy/can't afford.
